Hi There,

You can file this under, "Really Weird". I have an Outaw Audio 5000 amp and an Outlaw Audio 976 processor. I've had them for about two years and am thoroughly familiar with them. Two days ago, when cycling through the available surround soundfields (formats), to my great surprise, 4 never-before available soundfields were discovered (Hall, Room, Theater, Stadium). These are now in addition to the ones the 976 processor has always had (Music, Movie, Cinema, Neo6, etc). I contacted Outlaw Audio to explain this, and, as per their request, I sent them photos of the processor's display showing each of these four additional soundfields on the processor's display. I also sent them a photo of the processor's firmware version. They said I have the latest version. The only thing they can think of is that perhaps an electro-static discharge is responsible for these 4 new soundfields magically (my word) now being part of my processor's soundfields. They are completely baffled otherwise, as am I. Have any of you heard of such a thing occurring? Anyone have any theories? Uhhh, no, I have not been taking any mind-altering chemicals :O)

Thank u all for your input,

Tom
