Dear Friends

You guys helped a lot before and I'm sure you will this time.
I do have a cinema room which was converted to an indoor cycling training room
1. 65 inch Sony X90
2. Old H&K ARV 247 from 2008 (picture attached)
3. PSB tower speaker and PSB Sub
4. Apple TV Connected directly to the TV
5. I do use the AV receiver now as a stereo receiver with BT to my phone to listen to music while virtually riding. I use the CD mode on the receiver.
6. The trainer is connected to the Apple tv via BT.

Now, If I want to watch a film on Netflix, I only can have audio through the TV small speaker.
The Question is: Is there a way where I can have the flexibility to use the receiver to power the speakers to watch any movie? BTW this is a new apple TV with no optical connection

Thank you in advance

Nice room. You can connect an optical cable from the TV to the receiver and the TV will send the incoming audio from the Apple TV out to the receiver. If you are using an iPhone, you can use Airplay to send audio from it and any other Airplay devices to the Apple TV and not have to bother with Bluetooth so long as they are all connected to your network.

You have a good memory, yes, I posted something similar before. BTW indoor training is only in the frigid winter months ! 8 months of the year this room is deserted !

Can't do it even in the frigid months. I'd rather get a bunch of layers on and ride around outside....was going to do that today but it didn't turn out quite as warm as forecast plus it's still super soaked and I'm more an offroad rider....
