1st stereo upgrade

Was given a 77 sears stereo and would like to add some more juice if you will. I have an abundance of components that I salvaged.Would like to start off with a sony audio that was pulled from a projection TV. Well my wife thinks I'm crazy but having to much fun , any thoughts ?

Your wife is correct. Absolutely no doubt about that! Listen to your wife. That is a worthless endeavor on an item that was junk when it left the factory and will be when you finally throw in the towel.
