Are These Finds Good Deals?

Will have a lot of bass, but the treble will not be as clean as some speakers, and will be lacking some in the treble ... will not have the highs that you like

I never found any speaker with those aluminum Vifa tweeters to be lacking in treble. They were always too bright for my tastes.

Saw these tonight. There was no price that I saw and I didn't inquire. The drivers and tweets look great. I'm sure they are good, but left. Any thoughts on these guys?

I found the Monitor series to be a little dull sounding for mains although the Monitors or Titans can make good surrounds. For a budget speaker they're ok.

But if a collector finds one and he's willing to pay 18K $, shipping cost of 1K or even more shouldn't be a big concern.

As long as it makes them happy ... as the audio world turns!

That’s interesting. Maybe it’s the waveguide that attenuates them on axis. I wonder how they plot(ted) off-axis. I don’t have much toe-in flexibility in the living room so speakers always face forward.

There would be obvious reflections but IMO the sound image would completely be reversed, the left channel sound would be heard from the right and so on, unless you sit very close as mentioned before.

Oof... I dunno.
