Yes, Audioholics is a great site to hang out on.

It is an amazing site where we have the opportunity to learn about new home theater equipment, exchange opinions with members on various topics, even create some friendships, while having moments to forget the hard period we are subjected to with that long lasting Covid-19.

I am sure I am not the only one who appreciates all the interesting aspects of this online magazine.

@gene, keep up the excellent work!

I don’t know about all that. I just want to give back for all the great help, advice and friendship I’ve had in the 3 years since joining.
Thanks to you for being one of those that has guided and been a friend!

You've only been here 3 years?! I could have sworn you were a member when I first joined.

9/2018. I was shopping for speakers to go with my shiny new AVR.
I don’t recall if it was my AVR acting up that made me join and post first or if it was about learning Subs and Amps…. ;)

Suck up! :p

I kid, I kid... I agree with you. Of all the different sites I frequent Audioholics is where I pretty much call home. I've learned a lot in my time here and feel like I've made a few true friendships to boot. I appreciate having somewhere I can hang my hat and chat with like minded (and even the not so like minded) folks who share the same passion I do for great sounding audio and equipment.

Oh jeez. I showed up here shortly after I bought a pair of DefTech SM55s and a pair of Klipsch 10" subwoofers. I was excited because they were an improvement over what I had previously and was looking for some pats on the back... lol.

Needless to say I took a few lumps, but I rolled with the punches, listened to advice and took my system to the next level again. I really did learn a lot and appreciated all of the help. I'm like you in that I just like paying it forward. I love success stories and seeing folks come away with a greater understanding and a better listening experience. Nothing tickles me more when someone comes back with a "wow!".

I joined because I wanted opinions on getting a second def tech supercube sub. Even though I was resistant at first, I'm so glad I was talked out of it!

I had been a lurker for quite a while but so glad that I joined the forums. I came in thinking that I had a fair bit of knowledge but I have learned so much in the past year and also realized that I have a boat load more to learn. Participation here has not only re-energized my interest in hi-fi but also in music in general. Great group of people.

I was a lurker for a long time before I started posting, but I'm pretty sure I've been reading AH since around it's inception.

By far my favorite place to be online.

I actually like you people....

I suspect voter fraud.
Video evidence shows widespread tampering.
A recount is in order.

I really did learn a lot ...
Read: I spent a sh!t ton of cash ... :D

I had one of those. It sounds great in the system it's in these days at my brother in law's. @ $450 used it was kind of an expensive toy for H/T. This never happens in real life: somebody even knowing what a Supercube is, let alone having owned one.

I did have a guy at work tell me about his garden hose speaker wire feeding his Cerwin Vegas. Upon being informed of 16ga wire working for 48' according to Roger Russel he replied that his were shielded.

So ... even though it's only audio, at least it makes sense around here.

The "chatting with babes online" is just bonus.

I've been around for a while off and on, no complaints. But I have a life outside of audio. :)

It was fine as long as I didn't want anything under 30 Hz from it. But I did and I do... lol

It's now my office "sub", although I'm very tempted to pick up something with more performance.
