Receiver UI on TV screen

Hey everyone,

This may be a basic question but I am struggling to find a solution to my problem.

How can I get Receiver UI displayed on TV while streaming (Netflix) from my smart tv?

I have hooked Denon receiver to my Samsung smart tv, with HDMI/ARC. I see receiver UI only when I select receiver as a source on my TV.
If I am using TV smart functions then receiver UI doesn't overlay on TV. Anthing I am missing here?

Note: I know I can buy a stand-alone media player but wondering if there is any other option.

You cannot get the receiver's GUI to display on the TV while using the Smart apps, unfortunately, and will always have to go to the receiver source input. What is the model of the Samsung TV? if a few years old, a separate streaming device will do a much better job and have access to many more apps.
