Had to look that model number up. Don't see much action/discussion going on with laserdiscs these days but you might check sold listings on ebay and other sales sites for an idea. Seems some players of various makes/models asking in the range of $200-400 on ebay....do you also have any discs to use/sell?

There is a very small market for laser disc players. I would say that you must get a laser disc and you will need to test the player out prior to selling it. Doesn't matter if it is brand new/sealed in the box, the player is decades old and things fail. You will need to fully bench test it, then you can rebox it and post photos of it in use and the current condition. Sell it as 'new' on eBay and post photos of it in action. But, more than a couple hundred dollars would be somewhat shocking.

I was very much into anime (Japanese animation) years ago and some people collected Japanese laser discs. It might be worth posting in some anime forums, like animenewsnetwork, and asking if anyone is interested in a mint laserdisc player.

Prices for these seem to be all over the map, from $300 to over $1,000. Personally, I think the ones asking over $1,000 are dreaming. It's a very small niche market with low demand so I would expect it to be difficult to sell. The $200 - $400 range mentioned above is more realistic, even given the mint condition. If you are in no particular hurry, you could try and get $750 on eBay and if you don't get any bites then drop the price accordingly.

I saw a game trailer yesterday that made me think of you. See if you recognize the song at about 30 seconds in...

The game is in the Borderlands universe, one of my all time favorite games and I'm kinda stoked.

Priceless. :D One of the devs must be a BabyMetal fan. They even had the lute playing over the guitar solo. Gimme Chocolate seemed like an odd choice at first but fits the humerous trailer. That game looks like a blast!

Magic and metal! Yeah, I was kinda surprised to hear BabyMetal in a game trailer but then only even recognized it because you introduced me to them. It does look like a blast. I've really enjoyed every entry to the series.
