Its likly a Dolby requirement and manufacturers of AVRs arent allowed to let users do 3.1.4, i may be wrong but Dolby is strict. Did you try to connect 5.1.2 with the rearmost atmos speakers as the surrounds? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
