So, direct connection of Apple TV to the LG TV? What is the model of the TV and is it an Apple TV 4K? What kind of HDMI cable are you using for the connection?

Is it a premium high speed HDMI cable or Ultra high speed?
Did you select the right input to be shown on the TV? (probably but just checking)

You want at least a premium certified cable rated at 18gbps. Ultra certified cables that support 48gbps and ethernet are now available as well. Make sure they have a certified label and use the same cable type throughout the system. You can find some at Blue Jeans Cable or Monoprice. I would connect the Apple TV to the receiver to avoid ARC hassles that may result from connecting it directly to the TV.

Who or what is Rogers?
I think they are a cable provider like Comcast or Verizon FiOS.

Yes, I strongly recommend that you use a HDMI cable like the ones linked above which are listed as certified for supporting a 4K signal. They will often be advertised as supporting 18Gb/s. That's the key number. If it supports 18Gb/s then it is a fully capable 4K cable and SHOULD work. There is always a chance for a bad HDMI cable.

The slim Monoprice cables are my favorites and I have dozens of them in my home. They have worked great over the years and rarely fail.
