I have a pair of legacy audio focus se's, the ones in the picture appear to be an earlier version (different tweeter) I like mine a lot, very efficient.

also i am something of a reel to reel nut, the x1000 is highly regarded consumer deck. You might have to spend some money to rehab it a bit.

Those Legacy's do look very nice. Wonder what those would go for at a sale like that? Will be interesting to see what they try to charge you

That Denon looks interesting, amp? Legacy speakers for sure wish I was closer.

The Legacy speakers might be of interest depending on the price. Also check out the older B&W speakers – are they 800 series models? If so, they might also be of interest. You'll have to listen to know. And you'll have to transport those large & heavy items.

It looks like the owner had powerful amps to drive them. If you want the speakers, look them up to find their power needs.

The Adcom GFA-585 amp has a potent 250 WPC rating. Here’s an ebay ad for one, asking for $1344. If you want such a large power amp, if it works alright, and if the price is right, go for it. It's said to be a beast.

What looks like a Denon POA-4400 power amp (hard to read in the photo) might also be interesting. Is it a monobloc amp? It’s rated at 150 WPC at 8 ohms, 250 WPC at 4 ohms.

Looks like some cooler older stuff, any insights would be apprecaited, thinking of going since I am on PTO this week
That's an interesting site I did not know existed.

The legacy's are for interest for sure.

Not knowing anything works 100%, I have to take a pass. Cash sales and sales are final.

It's definitely a gamble, I was looking at the Denon 4400 amp and might take the gamble if the price is right. Curious on those speakers what they would retail on the used market. Everything else, not so much.

Yeah, me either. Kinda cool. I also agree with you about the Legacy speakers. Those are what jumps out to me too. The rest is kinda meh unless you're looking for some of it.

So are there Hawks at every one of these picking through and aggressively attacking all the stuff? I'm guessing so and I'm guessing a lot of what ends up on Craigslist is from people who make a living or side job off of beating us to the good deals on stuff like this. Maybe a fun retirement hobby but really, probably a beating frankly to make an extra $100-$200.

But I hope you do go and I hope you get a steal. I want to hear back if the prices are bargains or if they have an inflated view of the items

All it's going to cost me is a few hours of sleep, that I can live with. If I can get the legacy speakers cheap, may buy, refurbish if needed, and resell or keep. They only have one Denon 4400 Monoblock so not worth it.

The Sound Valves tube amps interest me. I've set up a vintage stereo room. I switch back from a Yamaha CR 600 and an Eico ST-40 tube amp thru a pair or Infinity Reference Studio monitors. Both sound great but the tube amps in my opinion are in a whole different class. I also pair it with my Realistic Nova 8's and sounds great.

Complete waste of time, or sleep in my case, they were priced pretty much what they sell for on ebay, no good deals to be had
