My LG nano 91 TV supports eARC but looks like my Denon AVR doesn't support it. So, I won't get high-quality audio TV for my receiver. How do I fix this without buying a new receiver?

What high quality audio does your tv have that needs eARC particularly?

(ps one way around is to feed the audio to the avr and only a picture to the tv)

If I connect the blu-ray player to TV and TV can send lossless audio to the receiver with eARC. I know I can directly connect blu-ray to the receiver though. Also, I guess some TV app currently and in the future will provide lossless or less lossy audio from TV to receiver via eARC

I don't know why you wouldn't just connect the bluray player to the avr, tho. I don't see a tv as a viable receiver....

Seriously, I have no life.

Lossless AV streams are rare. Pretty much all streams and cable, have lossy compression. The only lossless AV stream I personally know of, is the new stream from the Berlin Philharmonic Digital Concert Hall, they upgraded to a few days ago.

All my TV's are smart TVs and I still use Roku & Firesticks plugged directly into my receiver. eArc is just not that big of a deal. All my components are plugged into my receiver, so the only thing I am currently using arc for is to turn on/off my receiver when I turn on/off my TV.

At the moment, direct connection to a TV is the only way to get certain features from a gaming console and eARC will pass lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS:X. Yes, there are a few TV sets out there that will still pass DTS. No streaming service offers Dolby Atmos via lossless TrueHD, yet, and all use DD+ 7.1 core. If the X4400H is current in its firmware, it should work but you will need a capable HDMI cable that supports ethernet.
