i am considers changing the layout of my setup. If I do, the soundstage would be ~ 16 feet from the MLP, facing a sliding glass door and a sizable window. I told her I Would change the layout but performance takes precedent.

Are there any problems inherent in having the speakers face that much glass?

Do you have the means to hang decent quality heavy curtains? If so, then no, it shouldn't be any more of a problem than any other room presents. If you can not hang some good curtains then it may be problematic to some extent.

You want to target something like a Velour material with a thick backing and close them when you want to have a serious session. ;)

If this is a serious thing you may want to look at all options including proper room treatments to help cut down on reflections hitting that back wall. But at the most basic level... really good heavy curtains.

;)

Hope you are doing well, OO. :D Best to you and yours! :)

Yes, I can add curtains. Are you talking about something thicker than Blackout curtains?

Thanks Brother!
