Here is my setup:

CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER - Emotiva Airmotiv C1+ $250.00

AVR / RECIEVER - Yamaha RX-V681 7.2 Channel $270

FRONT SPEAKERS - JBL A130 $250.00

REAR SPEAKERS - Polk Audio - Signature Series S15 $175

I have an irregular-spaced room. (Living room bleeds into my dining room and main hallways)

I am contemplating going with dual PB Pro 1000 for $1000.

Do you think there is anything that will outperform these subs ?

HSU informed me that shipping will be expensive international

and Rythmik informed me that cannot ship to my location (Guam)

Outside of those two companies, is there anything that will outperform dual PB 1000 Pros.

Budget $1000

Are you getting 2 PB1000 Pros for $1000, or $1000 each? You must mean each. It sounds like you have limited resources so it's hard to suggest anything. The PB1000 are pretty good subs and I think a pair of them would keep up with a medium to medium-large room. Might be lacking a little bit in bigger rooms, but they're good performers.

So you get 2 PB1000 Pros for $1000? I say buy 'em! They'd be $1200 in the states so that would be a good deal here too. SVS make fantastic subs. Only thing I'd recommend over those would be next model up type stuff like the PB2000 Pro.

Well of course there are better subs but hard to say better than anything you can get within your budget there in Guam is really hard to guess....but hard to think you'd be unhappy with two PB1000s.

2 monoprice monolith 10" subs $1000, better bang for the buck.
