Schiit loki and Yamaha R-N803

Hello everybody,
Can you please let me knowif i can connect the schiit loki tone controller to this amplifier ( Yamaha R-N803) without problems, since it has no recorder in connection but only rca in?

No, that would have to be placed in a tape loop. Modern equipment does not have tape loops any more. The only preamp is for a subwoofer. At first I thought you could use your unit, as it does have record outs on two inputs, but you can not return it, so it is not a loop. These are for CD recorders, which I think are not around any more. There is no provision for off tape monitoring like a three head tape recorder of old would require. It is this loop that was made use of by devices like that Schiit unit.
That seem a really useless device in this day and age. It could only be inserted between a preamp and power amp, and only work on two channels.
That is close to a useless product in the modern age, with very limited application indeed. Vintage gear with tape loops would have tone controls and make that unit redundant.
Personally I scratch my head about Schiit products and wonder why they exist to be honest.
