Tell me this doesn’t get your heart racing just thinking about it, someone was about to majorly ripped off.
FTFT.
B&W Nautilus 801 originally MSRP is 5.5k each. Halo JC1 MSRP is 3K. Do the math - eBay listing is asking for a nearly full-blown MSRP price for the 20 years old used equipment.

Nope, just makes me think of how silly some "audiophiles" can be....but would be fun to experience, just wouldn't consider it a benchmark of any sort.

Not even close. They could give that to me and I'd turn around and sell the speakers off for enough to fix my car.

You guys are buzzkills, I bet that setup would be one hell of a ride, of course it’s stupid money but obviously that was the original owners intent.

Seriously, I have no life.
I wonder if they'll include shipping in the selling price..

Buzzkill, maybe, and I don’t doubt the upper tier B&Ws may sound good, but... still not interested. But I'll make you a deal, anybody. Send me 30K, I'll go pick these up and ship them to you. I keep the Amps and the change. Mind, I'll be spending about 4 hours in Bay Area traffic, so that's part of my fee.

I’m so glad they have the brass discs on top of the amps. That increases air by 50% and makes the blacks blacker than a black hole. The picodynamics (microdynamics are so 2010) are so lifelike you’ll lift three times as many veils as the amps alone.

LOL missed those, wonder whose nonsense that's from. They promote Nordost too, LOL. I looked at their address and was a bit surprised; I used to go in that building a lot, one of my roommates worked in that building (was an airfreight company at the time).

I like Parasound and the people I have spoken with at the office were very nice, but being paired with Nordost makes me think that a lot of companies are associated with others as a kind of circle jerk.

I'll see your stupid money, and raise it one Synergistic speaker cable for $12,995. (But, hey, each one has "custom" Quantum Tunneling)

>>>Quantum Tunneling: After the cable is completely assembled all connections and cabling are treated with 1,000,000 volts of electricity at specific frequencies and pulse modulations, creating a canal in the conductor material and contact points at the molecular level that allows electrons to flow more freely. This allows the maximum amount of low level information through the conductors and provides for the highest amount of realism in your music<<<

I kinda remember this Edwards outfit in another location in the area was more a furniture/tv/basic audio store from what I remember....seems like they're trying to milk some of the biotech money (that part of South San Francisco being ground zero for Genentech and some others).
