Started exactly the same thread about 2 weeks ago. Sadly, not any interest. I’m excited though, I much prefer onkyo and pioneer over denon and marantz. I have a denon 6700 and 4500 that I’d sell if someone is interested.

Haha, dang, thought I might have breaking news. Yeah, surprised that nobody is really that interested. Too many people are caught up with Denon and Marantz. Personally, I have a Pioneer sc-lx701. Got a good deal on it like 3 years ago.

Seeing Pioneer add Dirac room correction to their AVR's is going to be a game changer. I wonder if we'll see tons of people drop their Denon or Marantz's in favor of Pioneer or Onkyo's all for Dirac Live?.... Will be one to watch once they drop later this year.

WHAT WHAT!!!! EXCITING!!!!! I would agree, seems allot of people hang on Denon/Marantz nuts. Don't get me wrong I've been eyeing the AVR-X3700H because honestly, Onkyo/Pioneer/Integra haven't really been doing anything lately well that I'm aware of. I know allot of people on here also are hating on Emotiva, but word is (Inside scoop) they'll be releasing some new AVR's soon as well. I currently own the Emotiva Fusion 8100. Its outdated and lacks a few things I want but I must admit build quality is premium in my opinion.

So back to the news, I'm excited to see Onkyo/Pioneer releasing something soon. Can't wait, this makes me put the brakes on for a bit longer.

I thought there was a fairly recent thread like this, plus one last fall when they announced the Dirac thing....

I would love to see them succeed....have had both Pioneer and Onkyo avrs in the past.

My first AVR was a Yamaha in 1994. Then Denon there after. I guess you might say I am a Denon guy. :)
