Crawford, please dont even waste your time trying to get it hooked up. That place is a scam. It's address is a post office for christ sakes. There are only a few websites even discussing these speakers and those web sites are also a scam.

I would almost bet, Best buy is Not selling these (could be wrong). I would just try and get your money back from the father in-law.

EDIT- Just got off the phone from Best Buy with the manager. They have never heard of or carried this product in their stores.
Yeah, wasn't saying that one in particular,
I'm sure you have seen those all-in a box where it comes with a soundbar and sub. I've seen 5.1 setups where the bass module has Bluetooth built in. Some of those cost hundreds.

Yes sir you are correct, hundreds. But almost 4K, should have been a clue to any buyer, stop, look and investigate first.
I just hope Crawford listens to what everyone is saying here and doesn't take it as an attack on his person. People really are trying to just educate him. Hopefully at the very least he calls Best Buy to confirm. Then i think it's time time to have a little meeting with the father in-law.

I'm guessing here but may be a female? with Symbol that's posted up. But with this being the internet and all could be anyone from 8 to 80 M/F. Really was trying to help, at one time or another we all had a bad experience with this hobby hope OP can get their money back.

Poster did refer to husband reading the instructions and lost it.
So, I am logically presuming Crawford is a she.

Those small cubes look like a Bose Accumas speaker, swiveling?

.... I’m going to call Best Buy and see if we can get the geek squad to hook it up for us....
Welcome to AH. :) Sorry for the wrong impressions you encountered. Many here are very knowledgeable but they cannot know every system out there.

They may not be able to help much either without a manual. Just be careful.

Check out their 4k projector, color temp 9000. Wow, blue lightbulb?
250W ultra bright lamp is rated at 100W. LED it seems. Full 1080p so it is not 4k just the name.
All for $5k

And security camera setup? $3899. They really like that amount.

I did some research on this Theory connect scam. Best Buy, Walmart nor Amazon do not list products from this company. eBay has a "White Van scam speaker alert warning: DO NOT BUY."

I feel sorry for the OP, but we got a hole in one here. She should not waste any money with Geek Squad on these. It seems the recycling center is the only appropriate destination.

On line there are spurious glowing reviews form online journals I have never heard of. This unfortunately is an elaborate scam. The major tip off is the nonsensical power rating. What is unusual and elaborate about this scam is that the price is so high. This I suppose is to avoid the "If it is too good to be true then it is not true axiom." This is a particularly evil scam to use a high price to give an impression of quality.

I highly doubt that system ever works. Looks pretty much like "white van" gear. It seems very expensive junk, and has the definite look about it of the worst junk, if not outright fraud. I would drop that like a hot potato while you have the chance. For one think, HDMI does not just work, it has to be set up and assigned input by input. The system looks like a knock off of Bose.
Wow cost near 4k ??? Insane
Did you get a refund ?
