Glad we lost. You just can't give an unproven qb like Cousins almost $90 mill and think that's gonna work. We have no D. I'd keep Cook and find another qb via the draft/FA. However, I doubt our local radio hosts will acknowledge it. We've never won a SB. Go figure.

Vikings also are banged up bad on Defense,
Also Vikings put up 30+, Usually that wins.
Vikings had like what, over 6 #1's out from injuries on Defense? Saints Offensive line hasn't had all the #1's together since around the middle of the season. It showed up with the last two losts against the Chiefs and Eagles. Once Brees retires more than likely next season Saints gonna have some 7-9, 8-8, 6-10 seasons. Plus the fact that Saints have been over the Salary Cap for the last 3 year's. They can't sign everyone next year Saints will loose more than a few of those Pro- Bowlers. They gotta pay Drew Brees 20 million Straight up Next year whether he stays or not.

I'm not going to say Cousins is the worst ever. He's somewhere after the Ponder draft, and the all-time worst trade, the '89 Herschel Walker trade with Dallas for roughly 10 drafts. Sure Cousins can give you some decent fantasy numbers, but on field it's much worse. He's invisible. We have Cook and some good receivers, but Cousins role is very small. It's play action etc and its all contained. But if the blocking doesn't hold up, uh oh he melts. He doesn't rebound well at all like some of the greats. I promised I wouldn't want watch a game of theirs this year. Partially cause I've never been a Vikes fan, partially because he's painful to watch, and partially the "hometown" guys on the radio. I'd call in to them and say "See I told you so," but I honestly don't think they're listening.

Well he won you a SB, and frankly we had Bud Grant who took us to four SB's. Thankfully he was inducted into the HOF.

I watched everyone of those NFC Championship games. Fran Talkington was awesome! Purple people eaters sweeet! Saints went 21 year's without a winning season I'd take four NFC Championship games back than over 21 Straight losing season any day. The NFL today isn't what it use to be like it was back in the 70's and 80's. Saints won their SB back in 09, with a lot of Illegal sh$t with "Bounty gate" Benson got find 500k Payton and Greg Williams got Suspended for a year. But it was Benson the Owner who put up 40 million off the books to pay the money off the books for the Defensive players they had. They where way over the Salary Cap that year. The IRS even got involved, sure other NFL teams where running some off the books "cash" but the Saints just happened to be Filming that HBO thing and they Fired one of their LB Coaches
So he gotta hold of the "money off the books" and turned it in to a Media outlet. But yeah Benson, the Owner of the Saints put up the 40 million. Man was dying didn't have many years left, thing about that how many other teams before that, Bounty gate thing did the same thing. Oakland Raiders Owner use to say all the time, "Just win baby" After that Bounty gate investigation thing the NFL went Public that a few other teams had some kind of, off the books payment thing going on. It changed the way the game is played today. Now they payoff the Refs to fix games even more so. I enjoy watching the NFL but I'd be a fool to think that some of the game's aren't fixed cause they are.

I just remember Favre running right but throwing left for the INT.:p
I'm a bit concerned about Brees arm strength heading into playoffs. Hopefully he can maintain his accuracy.
BTW, I don't really understand why Vikings fans are still upset about the game all these years later? Was the officiating that bad??? I only tuned in long enough to see Favre throw the costly INT.

Watched the edited highlights. I remember thinking why do we have Adrian Peterson in there if he can't hang onto the ball??? LOL. Some real costly fumbles for us. Favre's INT happened before OT, but even the announcers said that's a no no hahaha. Well we did have an elite qb briefly.;) Reggie Bush there too. Pierre Thomas had some big returns. Good memories. Could've gone either way.:)

LOL, like it ever does them any good !!
I've always wondered if the Ford family Martha Firestone Ford has a lot to do with the way that NFL team is ran. I can remember back when John Meacham was the Majority owner of the New Orleans Saints, he had his hands in everything which was the main reason the Saints never had a winning season. Take a look at Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones owner has been criticized publicly for hands on. Mickey Loomis and Sean Payton have total control of the Saints. Pittsburg Steelers another team where the Owner has hands off.

I can't stand Jerry, so he can be as hand on as he likes and continue the losing formula. They have about one win in the playoffs for years now. I remember back during NY's first SB win with Ellie. He actually came on the sidelines in the 4th qtr when things weren't looking good. However, I do believe he should be inducted into the HOF for his 90s dynasty. From one end of the spectrum to now the other I've seen the full scope of his results. (I mean of all people he hired McCarthy as coach.) Today my goals are real low: as long as Dallas doesn't win it, I'm happy with the season.

The NFL has a very Long history of eccentric Owners. The NFL has a good product of entertainment. About the only knock I have against the NFL is the rigged games now and then. But with that said, I like this sport I even played it in school for 3 seasons. The one thing about this sport you never know what's gonna happen at any given time. I've seen some crazy sh$t happen with this sport.

ATL playing well against the Big Red. Fun watching the chess match. 7-7 in 3rd.
Rams @ Hawks- last RW got blitzed. Glad we're at home this time LOL. I'm not expecting much.
Jets 13, Browns 3 halftime LOL. *scratches head*

I guess they still see potential in Darnold. ;)
Sad ATL. All that just to miss the FG.
I shouldn't complain. That was probably the best D against KC this season. Well done!

13-6 Hawks lead. Run, D, and hope Wilson does something late. The rest of the time I don't get it. Pretty atrocious otherwise. Wilson has like 250 yards in the last 7 quarters. I think he has to stay in that realm of hybrid. He's not really a pocket passer. Gotta thank Pete all these years. Probably enough for HOF.
Goff though. Execution not good. A couple runs where he could've ran and didn't or slid short.
