Amp power vs speaker recommended power

I have KEF 205/2 and KEF recommends 50w to 300w of power. The amp I am considering is Audio Control Avalon G4 which is a class H amp. I am planning on bridging it so the output would be 600W per channel at 8 ohms. Not sure this is a great idea with extra power but the class H does work differently (with peak power) than a D. Also, the amp has "LightDrive Anti-Clipping Protection Circuitry" which presummaly protects the speakers coils. Just wanted another opinion on this.

I know there are hundreds of amps that could be used for these speakers but for the point of discussion I would like to stay with this combination. I do appreciate that everybody has a favorite amp but this is the amp I would like to use if it makes sense.

It is generally not recommended to bridge a 8/4 ohm rated amp if the load impedance is lower than 8 ohms nominal. The 205/2 claimed 8 ohms nominal but I doubt that and would not recommend bridging that amp to drive them, unless you exercise care and go easy on the volume dial.

So 230 watts is that amps non-bridged output. Would you consider that sufficient power for those speakers?

Quite likely, but it depends on your need. If you sit far enough and listen to loud enough level on average, then no.
