Hey AH,

i have a good ? I want to put a center channel in my garage. Would you go get a in wall or a regular center channel?

I live in Tuscaloosa so there is humidity and some heat.

You actually sit in the garage watching movies rather than using your system in the house? Thats different but kinda cool. What speakers (make and model) are you using for the fronts?

More of a garage gym but I do game in the garage as well.

I would go the used speaker route and search for another pair of am1 or go used with a different pair of outdoor speakers. I would worry about your subs going bad if I were you as they are not designed to work in that kind of environment.

I bring my SB1000 inside when I’m not in the garage.

so get another pair of some AM 1? Is that the verdict?

Curious, just how bad is the garage environment there? In my workshop (converted garage but no weatherproofing) I just leave my avr, subs, speakers there year round. None are indoor/outdoor models (I do have some outdoor speakers I leave outside on the deck). We don't get too much freezing weather here, altho its been in the 30s each night lately....nor blistering/humid summers, but we still get temperatures in excess of 100F.....humidity we've got year round to an extent.....
