Klipsch SPL120 vs HSU VTF-2 MK5

Hi guys,

I'm down to my last picks of equipment to set up my home theater audio set up. I am thinking of getting Klipsch RP600m and Klipsch RP450c for LCR. I really liked the HSU CCB8s, but going to stick to Klipsch due to the price and the size constraint for the center speaker.

Now, the dilemma I have is the sub. I wanted to check with you guys if I should just keep it in the family and get the Klipsch SPL-120 sub or get the HSU VTF-2 MK5? I like the better bass extension of the HSU, but not sure if anyone has some real world comparative view on these 2.

My heart is with the HSU. For the MK5 it says not in stock. Do you guys know how quickly they replenish stocks?

Yes, a friend of mine had them. Didn't seem to have the harshness that people complained about in the past and I've seen their new waveguide design helps. I don't have a comparison with older klipsch speakers, but the 600s I heard sounded good to me.

Yes, I emailed HSU and asked and they said they were in the middle of a website update and that's why it showed up that way.

Enjoy. It can really put out some quality base. It is the lowest frequency response I have had in my home. Very impressed in my end.
