If Russia (or China, or Iran, or ?) tamper with elections and do anything to really throw the results of the election into doubt, it could result in a level of unrest that would damage our country in ways that Russia or China could never pull off (without direct accountability) using military force!
A compromised/distracted US makes the world much more target rich environment from the perspective of any expansionist country!
LOL, I'm hoping someone can tell me why I'm wrong, and I'm hoping our intelligence agencies are able to be on top of whatever crap gets thrown at out elections from foreign agencies, but it really seems like Trump has primed the scenario to improve a foreign country's yield!
Whether he realizes it or whether he is doing it under coercion, it is strange that he is exerting so much attention to our elections being rigged, but generally glossing over the prospect of Russian (or Chinese or Iranian) interference!
