so i like the reviews of alot of wireless audio streamers such as the bluesound node 2i and i can plug my denon poa t2 and my sub amp into it perfect ... except my source is going to be my pc i use it for games movies and music. is it a bit of kit i can play my music on or when connected to my pc via bluetooth or wifi or any way wired even ... as well as give me audio when i open a movie or a game a youtube video. I just havent been sure enough to buy a wireless audio streamer but missing my subwoofer and thank you for reading this :) correct any mistakes if i mention anything wrong also

If you are using the computer for your music I would look at Audirvana. I like it because it works as a DLNA tunnel. This allows my Qobuz music to be sent to the receiver at full high resolution whereas when using the Qobuz app on the iPad it limits it to 44.1kHz.

It also provides an app that can control the computer. So if my computer is on a charger in another room, I can pull out the iPad and get 192kHz audio to the the Denon receiver from the computer to the Denon. It's pretty trick. OR if I setup a computer in the stereo area with a DAC, rather than get up to change the tunes on the computer I can use a phone or an iPad to control the music selections and volume.

With this setup, I can't imagine wanting a streamer at all as the computer is the streamer. At $100 for the software it's the least expensive and most versatile streaming solution I have seen. It lets me access all the music on my computer plus Qobuz and Tidal. It's the best kept secret out there for quality music streaming.

using an app to play my music isnt the issue my issue is when i want to play a video game on the projector or i put a movie on i want it to go thru the preamplifier as that bring up the line level signal and prevents distortion my question was whilst using a preamplifier am i still able to play ordinary things such as youtube videos and movies or does the preamp have to use a music oriented app which supports audio formats

If your media is coming from your computer via an HDMI cable then you simply turn the pre-amp knob to the appropriate input to view/listen to what is being played by the computer.
