Help deciding which Denon

New here to post but lurked on and off for a while.
I've been an Onkyo fan for years and now my receiver is acting stupid so I'm in the market. I think I'm going to make the swap to Denon for a change. I'm looking at the 2600H and the 960H. $50 difference (960 is higher) but don't see much difference. I don't see 8k in my near future and I'm not sure the other differences are great enough. Help me decide with all your infinite knowledge.

I watch casually, no dedicated HT room and listen to music mainly streaming, iPad or cd.

I'm also open to any other suggestions.

I like for an avr to have pre-outs and with Denon the Audyssey XT32 feature is worthy I think....so I generally start with the X3xxx series and up with Denon.

I recommend the Yamaha...

Oh, wait, scratch that, never mind. All the Yamaha AVR are on national backorder. Proceed with the Denon.
