Heck couldn't that be said about all the different types of commerce and social structure none of them are even close to perfect maybe because they can only be as good as the humans that implement them and I think we can all agree none of us are perfect we are all flawed.

But still we gotta keep trying hopefully thats what being humans all about I feel sometimes is being flawed and trying anyway

Who knows maybe in 200 years or so they will come up with a new way of doing things and finally get it right
:)

Somewhat, but when US "capitalism" is put on a pedestal by some, it just annoys me. :)

Until then I'd just be happy if I can find a way to get my white ass to somehow survive till the end of 2020. Lol :D.

No disrespect intended just trying to keep a sense of humor right now things are getting pretty intense out there not sure what to think of it all just yet

Maybe you could say I'm just waiting for the dust to settle a little bit to see where I can be helpful ya know?

Yeah I agree to act like we're the best thing out there is inherently arrogant and can maybe close our minds to something better.

So I feel where your coming from acting like our crap don't stink is no way to go about it and I agree I don't like that either

But still even with all our problems it could be a heck of a lot worse some places and some ways of doing things in parts of the world got it way worse in some ways

We do have resources and potential and infrastructure that many parts of tge world just don't have

Hopefully we can tap into that when people start figuring things out that is if we make it past 2020 lol :D

As it is with the ideals of Freedom, Liberty, Justice, Equality.
Man I completely agree with you you and me have chatted quiet a bit

I'm bringing this up not to be argumentative or controversial but I'm just worried about the direction the protestation is kind off moving

What I mean by that is if ideas get too radical for change history has shown in our country that that can push voters to the right

I just don't want Trump getting any help u know what I mean personally I don't think he's as stupid as some people make him out to be immoral incompetent at his job self centered yeah but he's cleverly manipulative I think

What I mean is I don't think it's an accident that he seems to be deliberately stirring the pot on this he has to know he's way behind on the polls you know?

My fear is if things freak outpeople too much like if Minneapolis tries to go without police and it ends up in a disaster well that just helps him out in the long run. And I really just would like him out of office am I making any sense with what I'm saying?

I personally think he is going to get elected again. The chaos is a hanging curveball, right in his wheelhouse.

Hey Shady not trying to redrag this out but has this article been verified? I've been trying to dig into research just to make sure it's been legitatelly verified as being written by an actual police officer but can't find anyone that can say it was yet

Not saying I didn't enjoy the article and I do think some of his ideas on how to refom things are really good

Just wondering is all

It's insane to see the things I've known about police put on paper. It's more insane that there is A LOT more terrible things I didn't know. I'm going to send this to my father in law and see what he thinks. Working for two different law enforcement agencies over 30 years, I'm sure he'll have some interesting things to say.
That would be way cool to get his take on this based on his experience

Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005), is a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court ruled, 7–2, that a town and its police department could not be sued under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for failing to enforce a restraining order, which had led to the murder of a woman's three children by her estranged husband.
Sh!t like that just makes my brain hurt.

But I'm lazy. My money works far harder than I do. Well, not today particularly (ouch!!). I'd rather go biking, so that's what I did.

@Gmoney, I don't know the answers. But it seems a fair assessment that labor's power is as low as it's been in decades, maybe since before the New Deal. In a highly automated post industrial consumer economy, it may be diminished perpetually. Meanwhile our corporate overlords seem to hold all the cards. Nobody within the power structures is adressing it, but history indicates the pendulum will swing back. I just hope the swing doesn't involve a bloody revolution.

I don't know if the author's identity has been verified. No surprise that he is writing anonymously since he doesn't want to face retribution. This article has gained a lot of traction over the internet in the past few days, so maybe there is more information about the author or at least some verification.

Okay this was a little disturbing I'm not always a fan of Tucker Carlson sometimes I agree with some things he says sometimes not

And he's obviously has a political agenda so you got to take him with a grain of salt

But this is beyond disturbing in this report they talk about his home being vandalized and threats made to him and family after his address was posted online

All because he said something that criticized the BLM movement? I could may be kind off get it if he said something against blacks like really inflammatory but man whether you agree with him or not he s just doing his job and voicing his opinion

So we are at a place where if you question the movement or want to discuss critically anything they are about they have the right to just go into your home? Threaten you and your family? What's next? People literally can't say or do anything if they have an opinion against it without losing there jobs or being threatened even if it's something there spouse says? Man f@$! That and f@$! there bulls@$! They just lost me with this kind off bulls@$! Because once they gain power like in that neighborhood in Mineapolis they've annexed off and from what's being reported businesses are already being forced to pay a fee extortion to be there what's to stop them from coming after you if you don't agree with them or worse yet my color and my heritage doesn't fit there acceptability. Get the f@$! Out of here with that seriously I can think of some words to use for this behaviour bigotry censorship among a few why would I EVER take a knee to this kind off bulls@$! Place my trust in there cause or there hands F@$! THAT MAN
