23x23x23 subwoofer box

I have a chance to buy a subwoofer box and locally for $50. It was a used or Dayton 15” titanic ser sub. The port is 6”round by 36” long. I would like someone to let me know if this Would w for my 15” Ultimax sub please. Does anyone know how to run simulation programs to let me know if this would work¿

Better question for the diy subforum generally. With free software like winisd you can try your own calculations, too (but there's a learning curve) but maybe someone like @Verdinut or @TLS Guy guy will model it for you. While external dims can give you an idea of internal dims, bracing and wall/baffle thickness (and displacement of the driver and porting) all come into play too. Offhand sounds like too small a box since the recommended sealed volume is 4cuft and vented 11cuft.

The box is too big for the sealed design and too small for a ported design. It's always preferable to follow the manufacturer's (or seller's recommendation in this case). Parts-Express and Dayton are owned by the same group). P-E's suggestion is reliable.

@Verdinut thank you so much for your response. I only have an
iPad and
Winsid says it’s only made for windows. I have no idea what I’m doing so that’s why I was acting like someone cut simulated for me. But I will try other programs to see if maybe I can make them work. I know it’s not the right size box but I am curious what the frequency response would be even though the box is too small. It might be something that I can use even though it’s not perfect. If any one else would be able to run a simulation I would sure appreciate it. Thanks for Trying @Verdinut .

With that box size, the only possibility would be to reduce somehow it's interior size to the recommended sealed volume which is posted on Parts-Express' website. Of course with that size, you can't use any port.
