best current blu ray player

I been searching and reading everything in order to determine what is best currently available blu ray player since it appears that the previously best ones are no longer being made...
I have a Samsung but doesn't do HDR. Don't really care about sound processing (I think with my limited knowledge) since I have decent sound system with Denon X8500H AVR. I have a Pioneer CD player that does SACD so don't really require that feature.
Is there much chance that some new great one will come out at CEDIA or 2021 CES?
Should I wait.
(need some new speakers but they are low priority for new since also plan to get new larger TV when new home completed...which now looks like won't be until after January)

Assuming you're in the US, I'd wait for a memorial day internet sale. No, there will not be anything new coming out, until the day that we realize what a huge mistake it was sacrificing quality for the convenience of streaming.

If you don't feel like waiting for a sale, I would suggest either the Panasonic or the Sony brand for reliable 4K players.

Thanks for suggestions. I don't need it desperately. Current blu ray doesn't do HDR disks, but does do 4k and 3d. Only have 4k 3d non HDR tv. Need them both around January.
