Giving props to Parts Express for excellent customer service

I purchased a 1200dsp subwoofer amp from Parts Express about 3 years ago. The amp died about 2 weeks ago and I was steaming mad because I thought it only had a 3 year warranty and I had a $600 paper weight. I opened up a chat with customer service and they advised me it was actually a 5 year warranty and I needed to call customer service to get a return authorization. I called and didn’t even have to tell them my name cause they got all my information from the chat I had the day earlier. I told them I didn’t have the box or receipt for the amp. They said no problems, they just want the amp the Denon controller and the room eq microphone if I still had it. I took everything to the UPS store last Wednesday and I received my new amp today. They told me they weren’t interested in repairing it and they wanted me to have a new amp.
I just wanted to write this to show how good customer service is supposed to work and give Props to Parts Express

5 years on a Sub amp is good most go 3 years or less. It’s a shame most Sub amps don’t last
That’s why I won’t spend 1000 bucks on a Sub the amps won’t last.

Getting passive subs and using them with appropriate external amplification is the ideal way to go!

Boy, that is great indeed. Didn't have to repeat everything. Once was enough. Great show Parts E
