Is this a fair deal up here in Canuckistan? Claims to be barely used and from the pics looks failry pristine.

That would be considered a good deal if it were sold by Amazon Warehouse in "Very Good" Condition.

Dealer cost on a new RX-A2080 is more than that.

So if it works like new and was originally bought brand new, then I say it's a great deal.

But if it was originally bought as Refurbished or used, then I say it's not a good deal, especially if it were bought as refurbished.

The RXA2060 has been a great AVR for me. I don’t have any complaints with it so far. Prior I had the RXV3300.

I'd get it if I had the cash. Alway wanted to try their high end model. Great deal. Just make sure you can try it in person if you can.

If it's 18 months Yamaha warranty, that's pretty decent for refurbished. We know that Yamaha will even pay for shipping on repairs as long as it is under warranty (new or refurb).
