Hello All,
I just moved and have my own space again..

I have a set of SVS speakers @ 10 years old. and an Onkyo SR-605. My source for everything is my home PC. Lots of old 128bit files or netflix.. (actually have 5 centers)

If I get an Outlaw Model 5000 and a denon receiver with pre-amp outs, Will I be able to tell a difference at moderate listening levels?

Thanks Rus!

It depends, if your moderate listening levels in your set up result in straining the specific Denon receiver you have in mind then you probably could, though the effects would likely be minimal as the Model 5000 isn't that much more powerful than any of the Denon receivers that have pre-outs, may be 1-1.5 dB better, negligible in most cases fro real world use.
