How y'all doing I have been watching a ton of videos reading and need some advice/input. Am currently building a HT system for my home I bought in May of 19 to start the room is 25ft deep by 20ft wide front and reducing on an angle to 15ft wide on rear wall due to stairs with the rear left open to a second floor loft and 20ft ceilings. I have a A9G Sony 77inch Oled TV with AQ HDMI Cinnamon cables hooking my Cox cable box(they got the right name for that company)and my X box one S to the Denon. PS4, Laptop and Switch using Monster HDMI to my Denon. With another cinnamon hooking the Denon to the TV, right now i have a Paramax 5300 for protection and power cleaning. The Denon is currently pushing SVS Prime Pinnacles(wife wouldn't allow me to rip out two bookshelf flanking the wall mounted TV so after talking/emailing pictures to ED at SVS he said Pinnacles would be better the the ultra's, claiming the side firing woofer would be to close to the shelf's and opposite wall.)SVS ultra center, ultra surrounds(for surround sides) and a PC-4000 giving me a 5.1 system. I have BJC 12AWG matching length for all speakers and an SVS sub cable.
Side note SVS is an awesome company to deal with I have spent hours on the phone with ED both Scott's and Ryan every time I call they are more that happy to talk how ever long it takes. call with two or three simple questions and 30 mins and 20 question later they are more then pleased to share information and experiences. You can tell they have a passion and love their jobs.
Upgrades forthcoming:
3 dedicated 20 amp outlets (when complete the subs will both be on separate 15amp breakers and the Amp and Denon will each have a dedicated 20amp breakers, leaving 1 extra for future upgrades *insert Tim Tool Man Taylor GRUNT*)
A second SVS PC-4000 (BASSOHLIC) Gene highly recommend Dual so am listening to the professional (wife not pleased)
SVS ultra surrounds for rear surround
6 SVS prime elevated for my Atmos
ATI AT527NC to power my LRC and surrounds leaving the Denon to push the Heights
Questions:
Brickwall 20amp surge protectors for the Denon and ATI?
Panamax MIW-POWER-PRO-PFP to protect the 2 PC-4000?
Room acoustics? DO I need them also how will i know if i do?
What do i do with the extra speaker wire some of my speakers are closer to the amp and receiver then others ?
What else am i missing?
Room: 25FT deep x 20FT wide front 15FT rear wall x 20FT tall
