If you choose to open it up, please make certain you unplug it first.
Use of a multimeter may be necessary... because you likely won't see anything.
Though judging by the condition of that one speaker... meh... who can say.
If you find the fault is a loose wire or connection point, or a crack in the circuit board, you can fix it possibly with a soldering iron.
For a $150 speaker set... I would replace it. Buy the same again... or the Logitech... or edifier... all three are "thx" certified between 100-150 clams us.
