Klipsch promedia left channel won’t work??

Imagine won’t fit even form Tapatalk, it won’t let me do more then one image at once lame .

In recently repaired the cable and nothing I did to it would fix the left channel so possibly it’s the module under the main satellite speaker damaged ??
Anyone else own pro media or had issues with klipsch??

Possibly simply an amp issue, looks pretty abused too.

Could a fuse be blown or something a Friend gave it to me but the left channel stoped working shortly after . I’ve googled it found this happens often but no ways to fix it .
Is it bad to run just the right channel will t hurt the amp worse or hurt the soundstage?
I’ve tried fixing the cable itself nothing wrong with it hurting the left channel.
They sound so nice for pc speakers but I cannot afford to pay to get them fixed I must diy it .

Running a single channel has limitations, particularly if you don't have a way to sum the signal to mono. How did you wire the two speakers to the one channel?

Many of us probably haven't even had that particular model let alone the same issue you have but time will tell. You'd probably not need to ask if you knew how to repair an amp....

While its wonderful you have an iPhone and use tapatalk, can ya remove the ad? (in settings under signature)

I’ll try and remove advertisements, but I’m using free Tapatalk not sure if I can .
So essentially no sound is coming from left channel so I plugged both speakers into the right .

Yes, I use free tapatalk as well, can remove the signature (or change it to other than the ad that is there by default).

So you're just listening to the right channel or is there a way to use it in mono? I meant whether you wired the speakers in series or parallel....

Right now I’m getting sound only from the right channel for back of plate amplifier , there is a Little pod underneath satellite speakers were all the wires go into could taking it apart help?

Couldn't tell you if taking it apart will tell you anything but if it's something simple like a loose wire....maybe.

$150 can be a chunk of change, I get it. I am trying a new path after repurposing my old logitech z623 (very similar to your Klipsch, though a little less expensive)... Though I'm willing to invest more into a decent upgrade, there are no 2.1 boxes that check all the requirements for me. Problem is, these things are disposable and quality = scratch.

Hate to say it... and I agree with Lovin's earlier post... looks like your thing took a beating!

My logitech is going strong after 6 or 7 years. I'm not looking for a "reference" upgrade... just something better. If it wasn't for the desire to just have slightly better sound, I would buy a new Z625.

Think you need to call it. You can try to fix it if you want... but if it's not a connection point and a simple solder... I'd just as soon budget for something else. The lady won't let me take apart the space heater for another cleaning (8yrs old now)... just ordered two new ones for the house: Said my time is more valuable doing other things. I agree. Just something to consider.

If you choose to open it up, please make certain you unplug it first.

Use of a multimeter may be necessary... because you likely won't see anything.
Though judging by the condition of that one speaker... meh... who can say.
If you find the fault is a loose wire or connection point, or a crack in the circuit board, you can fix it possibly with a soldering iron.

For a $150 speaker set... I would replace it. Buy the same again... or the Logitech... or edifier... all three are "thx" certified between 100-150 clams us.

Yeah sucks I ran out of cash when I saw a Logitech thx set for sale but it’s gone vanished now . You sure these $150 value speakers aren’t worth fixing what’s a millimeter to test which wire is bad ?? What are they $10

Still sound good but yeah the one woofer had to be repaired.
Are you saying a new speaker set used is smarter ? Anyways to use the sub woofer with another system ? It’s good
Or just try to fix left again if plate amp is damaged not worth fixing cost $100. Be better off with just right channel??

Nobody is going to be able to give you a walk through on diagnosing and fixing your speaker it’s more of a hands on type deal. Since your so adamant on fixing it. Unplug it!!! and start taking it a part if you break it or can’t get it back together it doesn’t work anyways so let this be a learning experience for you. Good luck

Give it a while after unplugging it before you start poking around in the amp, let the capacitors discharge....
