How do I mount bookshelves on ceiling for atmos

I recently replaced my old Elite with x3500h and would like to use my two spare JBL 130 bookshelves as atmos speakers directly above the seating position (facing down). I have a 5.1 JBL studio 9 series + SVS sub config presently so the 130s will timbre match perfectly. My question is how to mount these 11-12 lb speakers on ceiling? I have purchased keyholes (2/speaker) and can drill screws into joist to hang these but need advise if there is something better than what I plan on doing.
Thanks!

Yes, this receiver maxes at 5.1.2. Do I have to angle speakers if they are not directly above the seating? Those brackets will bring them down a little and my ceiling is only 8 ft high. Thanks!

Yeah, I would angle them towards the LP. Especially since the bracket+speaker will take up a lot of length. How many people do you normally watch with? If it’s only you, I’d point them right at your head. If you have others to consider, I might try the time intensity thing where you’d aim each speaker at the opposing end of the couch.

Ok, its generally me and wife. The mounts you suggested may not hold these 11 lb bookshelves securely so I am currently looking for adjustable ceiling mounts. Thanks!
