I adjusted my sub to get avr audyssey test to 0.0db but now the sub is barely producing any bass-low end on my sub woofer the gain is at level 2 out of 11 Klipsch r-112sw. I was watching audioholics video subwoofer setup and optimization and it says if I can get my sub decibel level on my avr to 0.0db that's perfect

The setting of sub trim in the avr with Audyssey I usually prefer to be as far down as possible (out of -12, like -11 or -10 settings) to allow for boost without unnecessary risk of clipping the pre-out level. Perfect at 0.00 meh.

For some reason audyssey put all my speakers and sub -10 and under would it be a problem to turn the speakers up a little more I can barely hear my surround speakers and the height speakers and the sub sounds really low need to turn avr up to 70-75 out of 81.0 max volume denon avr-s950h

Still having trouble understanding your writing, punctuation might help. So avr trim level was set to -10 for every speaker as well as the sub? That's odd. Does your version of Audyssey ask you to set gain on the sub to aim at 75dB test tone before starting Audyssey? Not unusual for many to boost the sub level a few dB after running Audyssey, tho and of course you can change any of the levels to what you like. What you expect at various levels is hard to know. Have you tried measuring results, even with a phone app if you don't have a measurement mic?

Yes audyssey tells me to set my subwoofers gain to 50db, but it never tells me if it's too high or to adjust. Here's a picture of the settings. So is it all right for me to adjust speaker db as I see fit without causing any harm to the AVR? all speakers are set too small and crossover 80Hz.

Never heard of an Audyssey routine that asks you to set the sub to 50 dB....but since the avr set sub level at -12dB that indicates the avr is trying to turn the level down because you have the gain set too high on the sub itself (-12 is the max the avr can go for lowering the level), so try lowering the gain on the sub and re-run Audyssey. You can change levels without damaging the avr, it will just change the balance at your listening position.

I'll bet he means the suggestion is to set his gain at 50%, or 12 o'clock then do setup. That is a little hot IME. Like you said HD, I think he needs to turn the gain down and rerun Audyssey. The rest of those settings don't look too far out of whack if he sits fairly close to his speakers except maybe the cc, but then it could be just more sensitive too.

Could be, didn't think of that being the "50". The speakers as set would depend on sensitivity, distances, etc...so hard to know if they're out of whack. He may think equal sound should come from each channel, too.
