Any recommendation on how I can achieve my quest? Was thinking 4 3way speakers in each corner and 2 10in subwoofers near the front by the TV. I want to have it all connected to a receiver. Planning to get 4 yamaha ns 6490s. But if there is a better way feel free to tell me

Cerwin Vega speakers should do the job very well. You can get some with 15" drivers. There good party speakers they get loud and put out good loud bass. If those aren't to your liking, JBL has some pro DJ speakers. You'll be mosh pitten with your buddy's for sure with those.

2 xls-12 and xls-6c seems to be all i need, what kinda amp/receiver should i be looking at? with room to add more on later. Also im getting low on the budget for this project. - thinking ill drop the center speaker for a later date and maybe get xls 28 instead of the 12s. is there a huge difference between 28's and the 12's?

If you can get the XLS 12 or 15's you probably won't need subs. You want impact, moreso than extension. I wouldn't get the 8's though. If you use some rough area geometry (it's not exact science when applied to speakers but still), two 8's is slightly less cone area than a single 12, and about half that of a 15.

You should also check Craiglist/OfferUp for your area. I see a LOT of used CV's for sale on Craigslist at any given time. If they've been taken care of they can be a steal.

Those XLS 15's look beast! Cerwin Vega do make some striking speakers with those red surrounds.

If you want a room to sound like a nightclub, then get a professional speakers like they use in a nightclub and forget about using any A/V receiver to power them.

ie: https://www.qsc.com/systems/products/loudspeakers/powered-installed-loudspeakers/kw-series/kw153/

With some 18" subs...

Have no doubt that your neighbors will be complaining.

I did a pair (one pair only!) for one of my clients and his next door neighbor was pretty irked.

Your screen name is Ineedbass and you're looking to create a moshpit, yet the speakers being considered have 8" woofers? Something seems amiss there. ;)

You mention the budget getting low, but no indication of what that might be. Without knowing what you have in terms of cash it's not really possible for people to make suggestions that are suitable. Another critical piece of information is room size as that will greatly affect the speakers performance.

These babies are on my to do list. New foam and they should be rockin!
Believe it or not, these flanked my tv for a looong time. And powered many a party back in the day. When I bought these, the poor guy at BB was trying to sell me a Blose acousta-ass
System. Not happening buddy!!b

Kabuki speakers! :p

I know a couple guys who have huge speakers like that (back in the day, but I have 1 buddy who still uses his) and I always wanted a set. The designs and styles sure have changed over the years, huh?

Yeah man, they sure have. I’d say mostly for the better. Performance wise, I think affordability is higher than ever. I can’t remember what I paid for those CV’s but at the time, the 15’s with horns is what I cared about. Those things could get so damn loud! And while I’m sure the FR is wonky, they were very detailed. Nowadays I’m dreaming about towers from legacy. Probably will get some Revels when the time comes.
