The preouts of any receiver driving an amplifier will vary the voltage depending on the volume level you set the receiver to. So, while it may claim 1v, it is going to vary up and down depending on the volume level that you have the receiver set to. This is the most typical way that most receivers work, so you shouldn't have any issues using it with any amplifier.
I would expect the 1 volt to be a 0dB value, and likely the receiver can go +10dB or so, which will raise that voltage by quite a bit. Likewise, it will go to -80dB or so, dropping that voltage. That's how volume control works.
