Converting stereo to home theater setup - need advice

I am running Magnepan 3.7 speakers with a pair of JL Audio F110 subwoofers. I want to start looking for suitable center and surround speakers to convert to a home theater. Any suggestions on what brands of speakers might fit this combo?
I am working on a budget (around 2k - I know, next to nothing) and it appears my local choices are limited. I was thinking for center: Klipsch RP-504C and maybe a pair of Kipsch KS-525-THX for surrounds. I have yet to start the listening process, but could use some experienced advice. Thx

Those Magnepans are a fairly unique design. Because of that, I am hesitant to recommend anything but Magnepan to ensure you achieve the same level of accuracy and timbral signature as the 3.7's.

Mixing and matching speakers can create a very inconsistent sound field. Start with finding a suitable center channel - you will want to trial it in your home, level match the Front L and R speakers with this new center, and keep searching until you find one that blend seamlessly in with your 3.7's.

Once you find a center that plays well with your speakers, then purchase the matching surrounds for that center - good luck!

Thanks!
I just returned from a thorough education at a local shop and came to the same conclusion. I am working with a difficult room for home theater and decided to first get a Magnepan center channel, upgrade the TV, then add some surrounds later. I appreciate the input.
