Yamaha Web Control Center question

Is there any way to change the "Input" order in the drop-down pane in the Yamaha Web Control Center for my RX-A3070?

I'd like to put my most frequently used input's at the top. Yes I'm that lazy. :p

If you are talking about accessing the sources with MusicCast - Long press on the source until "Edit Sources" appear. Hit on Edit Source, then you can basically drag and drop to rearrange the order. Hope this helps.

Thanks but no I'm talking about the regular internet web browser access.

Going to reach out to Yamaha tech support some time this week, hopefully it can be customized in the web setup.

Man, I still haven’t renamed any of my inputs yet - so they’re still just “AV1”, “AV2”, etc. :D

Just did a live chat with Yamaha tech support and no can do. Tech implied that a new Web Control is coming anyway. As long as they don't get rid of the Web setup, I'm looking forward to see how it's implemented.

The existing web GUI has been around for awhile. Hopefully they will update the cell phone app while they're at it, which is very hit or miss.

You guys will get a kick out of this. Here I was trashing the cell phone app and I opened it to see if connecting to any of my Yamaha amp's was still an issue. I must have missed the last update, installed it and now everything is hunky-dory.
:)
Thank You Yamaha

Oh, so you were having problems with the AV Controller App for you phone?

I never had any issues with either the iOS or Android remote apps.

I have a Samsung S8 (Android). I initially downloaded the app when I bought it and it worked fine for about a month or two and then it stopped connecting to the Yammy AVR's. Other people from what I read on the Google Play Store had similar problems at the time. Yamaha even acknowledged the issue. Really didn't care since most of the time I use the Web Control Center here in my office anyway or the remote's in the other rooms.

Now there was a major OS update to Android on the S8 about two or three months ago, so maybe that goosed it. There are so many variables when it comes to networking, that anything is possible. Working in the telecommunications/networking/VoIP field for 35 some years taught me to never assume anything until you check & re-check every setting before coming to a conclusion. Everything is beta nowadays anyway for the first year or two of a product.

I see.

I have a Samsung S9. I've been using the Android AV Controller and MusicCast App since summer of 2018. Never had any kind of issues whatsoever. Both apps have been working perfectly.

Ghosts in the machines, I guess. :D
