Y splitting sub out

Should I use a y splitter to utilize the L and R inputs on my Vtf2 mk5 or just plug into the single LFe input. Anyone have experience with this subwoofer.

Single is fine.
Using both just raises the input sensitivity, but won’t change the power output. Can be helpful to turn it on at lower volumes, but that’s rarely an issue. Also, bass is mono so nothing to worry about there.

FWIW the reason I mention single (lfe) is that it normally disengages any filtering by the subs internals.

That video is nonsense for a list of reasons too long to get into here. You should avoid connecting the sub to high level inputs if possible.

Unless you are prepared to turn the subwoofer integration into a big project, just use the subwoofer output on your AVR.

I wouldn't bother listening to ol' Paul....he's a bit too much into audiophoolery for my taste. Besides, I dislike watching videos in general, but his especially.
