Is it better to take two dual voice 4ohm subs and wire them to a 1ohm load or take two 2ohm dual voice subs and wire them to 1 ohm subs? (Currently running 2 dual 15" 2ohm subs on a 0.5 ohm load. At 3900watts

You need to consider the voice coil's capacity for current and excursion. Without knowing which woofers and amplification you're using, it's impossible to say what would be best, with any certainty.

Is this for a car, by chance? Or a DIY for your home?

I'd assume he's talking a car setup.....not many home amps are going to drive 1 or 2 ohm loads....

If y'all don't mind taking the time to look at those links and look at the specs on the amps and subs I shared and shoot me a suggestion on Wich ones to choose for my amp. I'm going to run a 1 ohm dual application wether I get 2 ohm or 4 ohm subs. Thank you

If you're actually achieving anywhere near 3900W, what kind of charging system is in the Dakota and if you say it's stock, you need to look closer at the fine print for the equipment because a stock charging system will NEVER handle that load. P=IE and at 14.4VDC, this would need over 270 Amperes, even at 100% efficiency and nothing is 100% efficient.

A 1-ohm load is going to run your amp even hotter than 2-ohms, so
Sorry I was just kind of looking for a general forum for subwoofers
Back when I used to be more into car setups, I was active in the DIYMA forum. There's a ton of info on there and lots of folks that can help you out. I believe they even had a Competition subforum where some of the more extreme systems.
