eBay is the place to buy amps.
Most commercial installations use plenum rated 70v speakers. The speakers are typically of VERY low quality. They carry a high price tag due to their need of a plenum requirement and testing and licensing for use in a plenum environment. This drives a $30 speaker up to a $150 price point.
So, you will need to check to see what make/model the speaker actually is, what size the drive in use is, whether it is plenum rated or not, and whether it is 70v or 8 ohms.
I make a point of buying amps on eBay. The price is much better and you can pick up some really good 12 channel amps for under $400 that are 100% working. But, these are 8/4 ohm amps, they are not 70v amps.
