PLEASE HELP Search for a Sound Dynamics THS 15

I currently have dual Bag End Infrasub-18's in my home theater. I started out with a single Sound Dynamics THS 15. Which I still have in my bedroom setup. When I first began to assemble my home theater and bought the Sound Dynamics off of Ebay, it had arrived not working. So I brought to a local audio repair center. It was taking longer than expected and I got irritated and ended up buying one of the Bag End subs while I waited. When I finally got the other one back the system sounded phenomenal. And after digging for information on both subs, I discovered that the Infrasub was a highly praised unit, and that the Sound Dynamics wasn't. Being new to home audio, that bit of information was what I used to determine which piece it was that made the system's bass sound as great as it did. So I ended up searching for another Infrasub and finding one. Moving the Sound Dynamics to my bedroom, I didn't give it much attention until recently. Anyway, with the dual Infrasub's I just wasn't getting the amount of air moving and body shaking bass that I was when I had the combination of different subs in the room. I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on? I tweeked and tweeked and tweeked my system in every imaginable configuration I could think of or Google. After much head scratching I gave up and didn't think about for a while. Well, recently I began to connect together my bedroom home theater setup with the aforementioned Sound Dynamics sub. Come to find out, it was the Sound Dynamics that was providing that heart murmur bass that I enjoy. I'm no audiophile, I love movies more than listening to music. So I'm sure I'll get people telling me that the Infrasub's are way better, but they're just not the type of bass that "I" prefer. And my goal is to make "me" happy. I've put my home theater together on a super tight budget within a year. Buying non-working equipment and having it fixed or trying my hand at fixing things myself(which has been very successful so far.) Scouring multiple buy & sell sites for months on end to find what I was looking for. Always keeping my eyes peeled for super deals that I can actually afford. And this was very disappointing. I have what many people consider great subs, but they just didn't produce the sound I wanted. I began thinking of spending more money. Which I really don't have, but I was so entrenched in this goal already that I couldn't just settle. And was even considering selling my Infrasubs and buying a used SVS sub. But I think if I could find a matching Sound Dynamics THS 15 sub, that I could finally put a stop to all the searching and headaches that this home theater journey has put me through. My problem now, is that I can't find one anywhere on the internet for sale. They're all old posts. I stumbled onto a few used audio sites, but once again, old posts where the sub had already been sold. I attempted to join some Russian audio site because it seemed that they had one for sale. But even with Google Translate I couldn't figure out how to register to the site. My question to the Alcoholics community is, "Do you know of any place or person anywhere in the world that may have one of these subs for sale?" They relatively cheap, and I can't afford an SVS, but I think finding another Sound Dynamics THS 15 will put the cherry on my home theater banana split. PLEASE HELP!!!!

First of all, for the love of God, Please use paragraphs! I do hope that you are on a mobile app or this blob of text lacking any format, is inexcusable.

Second, I am properly confused, On one hand, you have (or claim to have) Dual of Bag End Infrasub 18. They are not a new model, but back then they there $1590 each and it's current offspring, ISUB-18 is about $2k.
I could only guess that somehow you've scored both bag end subs on eBay on an extreme discount. You lucky so and so.

Lastly, Sound Dynamics being a Canadian company, your best bet would be to search places like Kijiji, like here for example:

Are you using bass management in an AVR? What are your speakers and what are the crossed over at?

I have DCM KX 12's Series Two for my main's. I have a 7.2 Yamaha A830 AVR. But I'm using the pre-out on the receiver with a JBL Synthesis s650a to power my mains, Aperion Intimus 6c center channel, and DCM KX 10's Series Two for back surrounds. The receiver only powers two Boston Acoustics C65 for height channels. All speakers set to small and crossover set at 80Hz. I've turned the volume up to 3/4 on the back of the Infrasub's and it sounds pretty good, but no "real" vibration. Not like the Sound Dynamics, anyway.

I tried to post a picture, but it's telling me that the file is too large.

You need 5 posts to upload. Have you tried different placement? Was the 15 placed in the same spot of the 18s?

5 posts to upload a photo? Kinda weird. And no, different places because of the two different box sizes. I had one in the front and one in the back. But now that I have a matching pair, the previous arrangement doesn't work. I wish I could upload a picture. It would make this much easier to explain. I have a small, L-shaped livingroom that, if it were square, would measure 13' × 13'. But it's got that L notch in it. Because of these sq. footage and acoustical restraints I have the subs positioned underneath my mains on custom stands(I'm an Ironworker and make them myself). What I'm saying is, with everything I have now, the previous positions wouldn't work aesthetically, or space wise.

The 5 post minimum is to stop bot spammers.

A square room is challenging for frequencies below 200hz. Two possibilities, first and likley is the 15 was place in a spot that had a large peak. Second the 18s are placed in a spot that has a null. You should experiment with placement. If you can move the 18s mid way up the side walls and see if that helps. Another is place 1 sub in your main seat and crawl around the room. When the bass sounds the best, place the sub there and mirror it on the other side of the room .

The other option is to get a measurement microphone and use freeware like REW to see what's going on in the room.

I don't have the YPAO mic for my receiver, but I do have a Denon Audyssey mic that I've been using. And it doesn't help with the subs. I haven't tried to position them back to the way I originally had the two different subs, so I'll have to try that. I've been watching a lot of videos on the subject from YouTube channels like "Subwoofer 101" and of course, "Audioholics." I've learned a lot about home theater that I didn't even know existed before. I haven't yet ventured into the room acoustic measurements thing with the wave charts( I can't remember what it's called at the moment, so forgive the silly description.) But if I have to, I will.

The mics are different and will not give you the right filters. With REW, the mic and Minidsp you can do better than YAPO with subs for around $300. That includes a coupon for one free plugin, which is all you need. At the least get the Yamaha mic.

Looked on Kijiji and within 5 minutes, I found one. Thank you very for the suggestion. Working out shipping costs from Canada right now. It's likely I would have never heard about Kijiji. Thank you again. Much appreciated.

You're welcome. You did notice that the actual link in my above post literally links to the sub you're looking for :)

Dear @Bundy75, please do notice the post date. In this case, it is Jan 2019, or in other words, it's almost four years old.
OP posted here only on the same week as the first post and never again. The chances of him responding to your post are as much as much chances of winning the lottery.

Please do not disturb dead threads in the future.
