help....panasonic selling this unit in europe only under model dp ub9000ebk....i want to purchase but im not sure if it is compatable with all 4k disks here in florida...a local electronice dealer says he will sell these under model dpub9000 ..the us version in feb....does anyone know if the dpub9000ebk will work im the united states?

Depends on the disc manufacturer. Blu-ray and 4K region codes are much more relaxed than region codes on DVD, so it may/may not work on 4K discs in Florida. Chances are certain that any Region 1 DVD will not work.
If I were you, I'd wait until Feb.
