How to program a Harmony 650 to Netflix ?????

I just got the 650 and so far it is just barely OK. I use a Blu-Ray player and a Roku but I can't find any way to get to Netflix.

I can press play a movie and that will get me to the Blu-Ray ready to go. BUT, from that screen I have to do multiple clicks to move around to find Netflix. There is no way I can see to have Netflix, or any other one like Amazon, appear on the screen so it really does not seem to be such a great deal.

Probably just me but I have searched google and can't find an answer. Tried the "custom" thing as well but that was not productive either.

I start my Blu-ray player and then navigate to Netflix. It delivers the best audio for some reason. I would like to have it set to just press Netflix and have it turn on the necessary equipment and navigate by itself - maybe not possible? Sort of like the Netflix button on the new Dish remotes.

Dish down-mixes their audio (verified) and I am not sure about my older Roku 2 (but their new "Ultra" does). My Blu-Ray is a Samsung.

Does the samsung bluray player have a netflix button or do you always have to navigate to it with multiple button clicks?

Navigate - otherwise I would have it learn the button.

If player always starts the same way then you could make a startup macro i suppose but might be a bit mistake prone if long, depends. Have you checked the commands list for the player in the harmony library, sometimes there are commands not in the original remote.

I have a bluray player where my Harmony 650 has a "netflix" soft button, as does the player's own remote. Otherwise I would just have the bluray's main menu showing and navigate to the Netflix app with the arrow buttons. Do you have a disc loaded and your bluray player to automatically play discs or ? What player are you using?

I think i used Oppi remote to teach my harmony remote Netflix and other commands. You press Netflix on original remote pointing it at Harmony. Harmony scans the code and remembers it. Though might be a better way.

You use the logitech harmony software to program the remote, the database is a part of that.
