Differences between Yamaha Adventage RX-A1070 and RX-A1080?

Can someone tell me what the differences are between these receivers? I'm not sure if there is a major advantage of the 1080 over the 1070.

The 1080 is $1200 and the 1070 is $800 on Amazon. Seems like a pretty good difference in price and wanted to see what I might be missing out on if I go with the cheaper one. I've looked at the specs and am not seeing any glaring differences, but I am a novice when it comes to receivers.

You could also look if A2070 drops price, it would be more future proof (5.2.4) as 1070 is limited to 7.2/5.2.2 . I know the feeling "naah i don`t need more channels". But if you keep receiver longer time, your mind could change.

Good post agree with you, you just never know with this hobby. The a1070 is a nice deal though.
