Klipsch speaker power

I bought 6 Klipshe R-5502-W II speakers and a RP-440C center speaker. The six 5502's list 75 rms and the RP-440C lists 125 rms. Is the marantz 7012, which lists 125 watts per channel able to power these speakers adequately?

I should add the 5502's have a 1 inch tweeter and two 5.25" woofers and are 92db. The 440C has a 1 inch tweeter and 4, 4" woofers and are 97db.

Yes, I just purchased 2, 12 inch, 300/600 watt Klipsch subs.

It sounds like you are all set with equipment. I would strongly suggest some acoustic treatment for the room next.

With 1w sensitivity in the upper 90's, those speakers will run you out of the room long before the receiver runs out of juice.

I have a pair of Klipsch towers that I'm about to sell because my rooms are too small and I can't sit a comfortable distance from them.

The "power" rating on a speaker is not the wattage required for them to make sound, it is the point at which things start to fail. Given the high sensitivity of Klipsch, most receivers will easily drive them to more than adequate levels.

The system is going in a 15x20 sunroom with a peaked 12ft ceiling. Surrounded by glass and including a 6 ft wide stone fireplace, I'm buying honeycomb window blinds to block some sun and that should help the acoustics a lot.

I recommend punching numbers to SPL calculator, but even a cursory glance tells me that you'd go deaf before you'd need more power

The blinds should help with the upper frequencies, but probably won't do much at all for the bass. Do you have one traditional wall you could hang thick acoustic panels on? Or even better, a bass trap in a corner or two. If you have a picture, I'd be interesting to see.

Shutters are good, curtains would be better. Not exactly the best thing for a sun room, just depends on the sound quality desired.

Thanks for all the feedback and help, I truly appreciate it. One more question about the center speaker. I purchased a Klipsch 440C. I didn't realize it was 15" deep and now I'm not sure how I would mount it above my fireplace. With my 6 R-5502-W II IN-WALL SPEAKERs, would a R-25C CENTER SPEAKER be a better match and work well? Thanks in advance
