Best way to connect these (quality wise)

Hi everybody!

I wonder what is the best way to connect this speaker to my popcorn hour vten. What type of cable quality wise (or maybe a cable + another device/converter)...

First photo is the back of the speaker. It is one speaker only, column shape (originally used to listen to music coming from an Ipad). Second is the popcorn hour. Distance is 5m.

You need a DA converter to convert the digital out to analog in.

Thanks for the answer. Total noob question: what would happen if I connect a RCA cable to the popcorn and the other end (with 2 RCA terminals) to the speaker with no D/A converter?

You'll hear lots of noise.
you will need dac like this one:

get cheap (but shielded/coax) rca cables to connect these.

Thank you. The D/A converter is on its way. I am concerned about the noise introduced by the power adapter that supplies the current to the converter. Apparently (read some reviews of different models) it can introduce quite an annoying noise that can be heard through the speakers... What do you think? They talk about a filtered power adapter but I have no clue what that is or how I can make sure I buy the right one (filtered).

Just try it and see. It will more than likely be fine.

That is just a standard USB power adapter, 5V supply (but the Amazon page does not list the current spec).

If it is a problem, then read up on some of the better/filtered power supplies that are typically used for the Raspberry Pi.
