The SAE Two A7 amplifier originally sold for $549 SRP. Built in Japan by a subsidiary of Marubeni Corp. a major trading company, and also was the distributor in the Middle East for Sanyo/Fisher. Note that the subject Marubeni subsidiary named Benytone also built receivers and rack systems for Marantz. The Marantz receivers were stereo, but certain models were the 1st to support CQuam AM-stereo with an optional, clever plug-in module. 1 of the rack systems sold by Marantz to American Express through their fulfillment group sold >250K systems.
