Speaker not fully working

I gave an older sound system, yamaha rx-v550 with paradigm monitor 90p v3 speakers, anyway the left speaker light does not come on - guess for the subwoofers as the top speaker works.

Any ideas and oh somehow my amp is on zone 2 is this a prob unsure why it is but I just noticed that

One idea is to check speaker connections. How are they connected to the back of your avr if they work on zone 2? What connections do you have on the speakers themselves?

Well, amplifiers can fail but lights can burn out, too. Did you bother to check to see if any sound was coming from the sub?

Yes tested it through the receiver and no sound through the left tower swfr and only sound comes from top speaker and tweeter. These speaker nvr were used to e em close to there full potential

Fyi yah zone 2 but can or go to zone 1 maybe I nvr could nvr played with the zones. And I looked there nothing plugged into zone 2

Oh should mention/ how do I test to see if they a tally faild?

If no sound is coming from that tower’s sub, then the logical conclusion is that it’s bad. However, since the indicator light isn’t working in addition to no sound, I’d suspect a fuse.
