Klipsch RPW-10 - Powers ON, allows speaker pass-through, no sound outputting

Hello all,

I am currently running a Denon AVR-2802 with a pair of Paradigm Reference Studio 60v3's. I am bi-amping these speakers through the 5-channel stereo mode (FR,FL, SR,SL). I have a Mirage LF-100 sub-woofer that I plan to dual sub with the RPW-10.

Now to the problem: The RPW10 powers on and off. When I connect it to my sub woofer pre-out(like i did with the mirage and it worked), the RPW has no sound. I then hooked up the speaker woofers to the RPW, and then the RPW t the Denon using speaker wire. The woofers worked, but the RPW still didn't output any sound. Pictures of the ports are attached.

Any thoughts on how to fix? Also, Can I dual sub with my Denon? Thanks

Sounds like the Klipsch is DOA, most likely the amplifier. You might be able to get a factory replacement from Klipsch.

I feared this was the case after hours of research last night...

When I get the sub up and running a simple y-splitter from the lfe output on my receiver should be sufficient for dual subs right?

Yup. And it can go anywhere - for instance if you put the two subs close together you can do the "y" there.

yep. I have a Klipsch like the one the OP describes that is also DOA. It powers on and it does just about everything except play music. Aye, there's the rub. Plate amp is shot. For what Klipsch wanted for a replacement amp I felt I was better off just saving up a few bucks and getting a completely new sub.

I did that. I bought a Monolith 10" sub from Monoprice in November. THX Ultra certified.
Makes my old Klipsch sound like it wasn't even on. Oh, hey, wait...................
